TeamBretMichaels.com Story: Pet Adopt Helps Family Cope After Bout With Breast Cancer

My sweet angel mom passed away from breast cancer on May 10, 2013. She was 80 years young. We were devastated, sadness lingered our home. I thought maybe getting a dog would help with the healing process not only for us but my children as well. So I went to a local animal shelter and there she was, sitting as close as possible to the front gate as if to say pick me! She was so cute and sad at the same time. Snoopy we call her is a Beagle-Hound mix she was 6 months old and in a cage all by herself. I knew that she was meant for us. Since then she is a big part of our family and we love her very much.
